The midterm elections may not have resulted in a blue wave for Democrats, but when you’ve been in the desert for two years, says late-night comic Seth Meyers, even a ripple can feel like a tsunami.
Democrats were able to flip the House, but Republican control remains in the Senate.
That didn’t stop Stephen Colbert from needing a drink during his live Election Day show. Take a look at today’s Best of Late Night, above, to see which race prompted him to bust through the emergency glass.
